A.k.a. what might I potentially steal wheels off to fit my Niva?
Be aware of potential problems with incorrect offset (ET) rims on the Niva. The lowest you should go with a Niva is probably around 30 or 40mm (as long as the backspace isn't risking contact with the body etc with wider than stock rims).
Lada
Niva (2121, Hussar, etc) – fitted with 16”
x 5” wide, (offset 55/57mm, ie a High offset)
Wheels: disk stamped, rim size 127J-406 (SJ-16). Tyres: radial-ply 175/80R16
with 315 mm static radius or cross-ply 6.95-16 (175-406) with 322 mm static
radius.
Cossack (aka Turist, Toro, etc) OEM rims – 15”
by 5.5 or 6, (H offset), different brands (ROH, BWA, etc) vary slightly in different
markets.
Suzuki rims on a Niva; note the much lower off-set than
Lada rims (see warning below).

mistake them for the 5x114 fitted to Cherokee/Wrangler and modern 5 stud Jeeps)

Landcrusier V8s are
listed as 5x1.39.7s in Russia, but I suspect an error (ie actually
5x150 as the ‘Cruiser is listed in other markets, but who knows maybe their
V8 'Cruisers have Daihatsu bits for some bizzare reason).
Delta Motor
Corp (Phillippines)
Mini Cruiser (Daihatsu F20 based miniture version of the

ZhanQi
BJ 212 - 2020 ? (Chinese UAZ 469 clone; unconfirmed,
but given it's a UAZ clone and that there's pictures of one with what looks
like Suzuki rims they are almost certainly 5 x 139.7)
Offset
Guide:
H = high or positive offset, typically +45, 40, 35mm (typically
front wheel-drive)
M = typically + 20mm offset
L = low, typically 0 or negative offset
Be aware of potential problems with incorrect off-set (ET) rims on the Niva. The lowest you should go with a Niva is probably around 30 or 40mm (as long as the backspace isn't risking contact with the body etc with wider than stock rims).
Centre
Bore:
Some centre holes may not be big enough for Niva hub (98mm), some US rims are
known to need a small bit of milling to fit (eg Ford Bronco centre bore
is 86.9mm). Most Japanese are based on Suzuki 108mm bores and will easily
fit, however Kia Rocsta (95.5mm) will need milling, but the Kia Sportage (108mm)
won't.
Nuts:
Most US made have ½ inch lug nuts; Japanese/Euro made have 12mm (x 1.25
or 1.5) lug nuts.
